Available CertificationsThe BOSS Oil Water Separator is certified by the United States Coast Guard, has passed an ABS Product Design Assessment, is manufactured to ASME Sec VIII standards and piped to ASME B31.3 Specifications. pH TransmitterThe pH transmitter allows pH of the discharge water to be monitored and preset discharge limits to be set. If pH exceeds preset limits discharge will automatically be recycled until such time as the limits are met.
Temperature Transmitter(s) Temperature transmitters are used to monitor temperature of the process. Monitoring can be accomplished at the control panel or at remote locations.
Flow Transmitter(s) Flow Transmitters are used to monitor flow of oil and inlet or outlet water of the process. Monitoring can be accomplished at the control panel or at remote locations.
Oil Flow Meter(s) These meters are used to measure and/or totalize recovered oil discharge rates.
Water Flow Meter(s) Water Flow meters are used to measure and/or totalize inlet and outlay flow rates and volumes.
Remote Site Operation and Monitoring The systems can be monitored and operated from remote locations such as the control house or bridge of a ship or the motor control center for industrial plants.
Post Separation Polishing Systems At times it is necessary to remove particulates, chemicals or other objectionable constituents of the discharge water. We provide variety of polishing systems to deliver performance required by your operation.
De-Emulsification Emulsified oil and water can pose a difficult problem for many operations. We work with you to provide effective and affordable solutions for separation of emulsifications.
Heaters Freezing conditions can damage or render inoperable many separators. We provide heating systems that will allow operation of the system in the coldest weather.
Storage Tanks Storage for oil or water can be provided as needed.
Ultraviolet System Ultra violet provides effective and quick disinfections of water. In cases where this is desired, we provide UV disinfection systems. Our system are suitable for use in NEMA 4X locations as well as hazardous locations.
Pre-Filtering of Solids In applications where the inlet fluid contains significant solids prescreening and/or filtration may be required. We provide these systems customized to your application.
Audible Oil in Water AlarmA visible alarm light is standard on every oil water separator. An audible alarm of can be added as an option. Many types of alarms are available.
Oil Pressurization PumpAn oil pressurization pump can be added to bring the pressure in the line to the desired level.
