BOSS Separator POST-FILTER OPTIONS Default. The standard BOSS oil/water separation system is supplied without any post filtration. While this is adequate in most situations, a post-filter can be useful in further cleaning the discharge water. Post filter can remove turbidity, emulsified oil, and other contaminants not removed by the coalesing separator. Filters can be provided separate from the separator or integrated on a skid. Many filter options are available on the market with various specific purposes. Any of these filters can be added to the discharge stream of the separator. Our engineers will be happy to assist in the proper sizing of post filters dependent on the water flow and content. For MEPC 107(49) certification a special post-filter separator is required Here is an example of a separator with an integrated post-filter system.
